Devil’s Reef

Ocho Rios

Jamaica

Overview

Devil’s Reef is a dive site off Ocho Rios known for its sloping reef and pronounced drop-off. The reef reaches approximately 65 feet before descending towards a sandy bottom around 130 feet below the surface. This changing terrain makes it particularly appealing to divers with deeper-water experience.

Corals and sponges provide a backdrop for reef fish, with possible sightings of moray eels, turtles and nurse sharks. Its appeal comes from the transition between the reef and deeper water, offering a different perspective on Jamaica’s north coast. Guided routes can focus on the formations and marine life at depths appropriate to the divers taking part.
